"Football in Europe" Panel Speaker

Dr Karolina Tetłak
(University of Warsaw)

Dr. Karolina Tetłak, LL.M. is lecturer in tax law at the Faculty of Law and Administration at Warsaw University. She specializes in sports taxation, with a unique expertise in taxation of major sporting events and international sports tax law. Her research interests are primarily tax aspects of major sporting events, taxation of athletes and sports organizations, international sports tax law and legal framework of sports mega-events. Her research on taxation of sportsmen participating in major sporting events was funded by FIFA. Dr. Tetłak graduated from law schools in three jurisdictions and holds an LL.M. degree in tax from Harvard University. She is a frequent speaker at conferences and seminars on tax and sports law and the author of a number of publications on various aspects of sports taxation.
